Purpose of the simulator:

Help enthusiasts decide which mods will help their car go faster and by roughly what amount.  Is it 0.5 seconds or 5 seconds?  Will that last 10hp be better or will 50lbs of weight savings be better? The delta (difference) in lap time is the important thing here.

Please use the fine tune adjustment bar.  It’s there for the difference between driver skill, vehicle alignment, the exact brand of tire, age/wear/laps of tire, etc.

Not so much the purpose:

Predicting the exact time a car can achieve.  Why?  Temperature of the track, humidity, amount of sun/lack of sun, is the driver on or slightly off, if an F1 team can’t do it, this simulator certainly can’t either.

Aero Definitions:

Factory aero – Supra w/spoiler or BMW M cars up to a Porsche GT4.

Medium aero – 992 Porsche GT3, 718 GT4RS, or cars with upgraded aftermarket wing and some suspension upgrades.

High aero pro – 992 GT3 RS, Dundon Valkyrie, Verus swan neck, etc. Heavy suspension work.
